The English Faculty's Dr Freya Johnston appeared earlier this week on Radio 4's Beyond Belief. The programme commemorated the 200th anniversary year of Jane Austen's death, featuring a discussion how her religious world is reflected in her novels.
Hosted by Ernie Rea, the programme also featured novelist and priest Marie-Elsa Bragg, the social and architectural historian William Whyte, and Rev Paula Hollingsworth, author of "The Spirituality of Jane Austen."
