Clarendon Lectures 2012: Professor Brian Cummings

Professor Brian Cummings (Sussex) will be giving the Clarendon Lectures 2012 at 5.15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays of Weeks 4 and 5 of Michaelmas Term (30 October, 1, 6, 8 November), in Lecture Theatre 2 of the St Cross Building, on "Bibliophobia".
Lecture I: Book Burnings
Lecture II: The Cult of Books
Lecture III: The Body and the Book
Lecture IV: Trials of the Mind
The first lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the SCR of the St Cross Building, and the final lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the OUP Bookshop, High Street.
