The Site Layout
You should be able to navigate your way around this site by using
the navigation bar on the left.
Below the site is represented pictorally. To jump to any of the
sections listed click on its name. Alternativly, go to the text
only version of the site map.
The Hypertext Editions
The hypertext editions are best viewed in a browser that supports
frames. You will see that there are four frames or panels to each
edition. In the very top frame there is a navigation bar. When you
click on the buttons in the navigation bar you will be presented
with pop-up windows containing links to various resources which
when chosen will appear in the other frames. To avoid confusion
the text will always remain in one frame, notes in another and translations,
contextual or historical information will be interchanged in the
last remaining frame.
Occaisonally resources will be associated with online articles,
other Old English texts, images and other websites - these will
appear in pop-up windows outside the frameset.
If you have any difficultly navigating the frameset there is a
no-frames version for each of the hypertext editions that you may
wish to use instead.
