The Faculty has approximately 75 professors, readers and lecturers, and about 50 other college lecturers and research fellows.
- Permanent post holders
Those who belong to the English Faculty because they hold University posts (or permanent college posts). These are the Faculty members who are likely to be available to supervise research students. - Research, centre & college staff
Those Faculty members without official Faculty teaching duties who work as tutors or researchers in the Faculty, the colleges or the centres. - Other members
