Alumna publishes dissertation in leading journal

Congratulations to Hannah Foxton on the publication of her undergraduate disseration as an article in a leading scholarly journal.

Hannah's dissertation, which was supervised by Professor Peter D. McDonald, won a Gibbs Prize and is now a published article in Safundi.

Hannah's dissertation titled 'How does one lay to rest the ghost of Faulkner?”: William Faulkner as Coetzeean “counter voice”' also won a Gibbs Prize and  “explores J. M. Coetzee’s evolving literary relationship to William Faulkner by examining Coetzee’s published and unpublished works, including materials found in the Harry Ransom Center and the Amazwi Museum of South African Literature.”
