Two projects supported by the English Faculty have been included in a timeline demonstrating Oxford University's response to the COVID-19 pandemic: https://www.research.ox.ac.uk/2020pandemicreview

Lockdown2020, led by Dr Stuart Lee, crowdsourced testimonies and images to document the daily life of staff and students during lockdown. The project, run by IT Services and the Faculty of English, worked with the City of Oxford Museum's 'City Stories' initiative and continued the University's long-standing involvement in crowd-sourcing stories, objects, and memories.

Ten-Minute Book Club, led by Dr Alexandra Paddock, Professor Kirsten Shepherd-Barr and Dr Erica Lombard, offered weekly extracts from a wide range of books, along with discussion ideas and links to resources. A collaboration between TORCH, the English Faculty, and LitHits, it aimed to offer a quick and accessible way into some of the greatest writers from all backgrounds.
