Professor Francis Leneghan appointed as Series Editor of Exeter Medieval Texts and Studies

Francis Leneghan

Congratulations to Professor Francis Leneghan who has been appointed as Series Editor of Exeter Medieval Texts and Studies (EMTS), published by Liverpool University Press, alongside co-editor Professor Eddie Jones. His appointment follows the retirement of Professor Richard Dance.

Professor Leneghan said: "I am honoured and thrilled to be taking over as series editor from Richard Dance. EMTS is regarded as the gold standard for authoritative and accessible editions of medieval English texts and I’m excited to develop the list, especially in my area of Old English. I’m particularly pleased to be joining the series in its fiftieth anniversary of its foundation by Michael Swanton, whose translation of Beowulf was the first one I read as a student."
