We're delighted to announce that five members of the Faculty of English have received the title of full Professor in the Recognition of Distinction Awards at Oxford University:
Sos Eltis (Brasenose College) is now Professor of English and Theatre Studies; Stefano Maria Evangelista (Trinity College) is now Professor of English and Comparative Literature; Freya Johnston (St Anne's College) is now Professor of English Literature; Francis Leneghan (St Cross College) is now Professor of Old English; and Annie Sutherland (Somerville College) is now Professor of Medieval Literature.
