The 2022–23 Shelley-Mills Prize has been jointly awarded to Henrietta Claydon (New College) and Jonathan Honnor (Regent’s Park College). The prize aims to promote the study of the works of William Shakespeare. The subject for 2022-23 was 'The First Folio 400th Anniversary'.

Henrietta said, "I am delighted to be awarded joint-winner of the Shelley Mills prize for my writing about a topic I feel so passionately about. This is such a major year for Shakespeare studies and I'm so glad that the faculty has provided this opportunity for everyone to engage with the First Folio and its role in the broader discipline."

Jonathan Honnor commented, "I am very honoured to receive this prize, especially in the 400th anniversary year of the publication of that strange, extraordinary book."
