Join us for postcolonial conversations
The psyche and history of postcolonial literature will be explored by English literature experts and historians at a special event in Oxford for alumni on Saturday 3 June.
14:00-15:30: Professor Elleke Boehmer, Professor Ankhi Mukherjee and Dr David Dwan, all from the University’s Faculty of English, in conversation at the Faculty of English, St Cross Building, Manor Road, Oxford, OX1 3UL
15:45-17:00: Discussion chaired by Professor Martin Conway, University’s Faculty of History. Panellists: Scholars already mentioned, plus historians Dr Faisal Devji and Dr James McDougall at the Pitt Rivers Museum, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3PP
17:15-18:15: Drinks reception in Museum Court and an opportunity to visit the Museum’s collection.
