Oxford English Faculty State Schools' Open Day

Our next English Faculty Open Day for state schools will be on 13 May 2023, 10.30am – 2.30pm. The Open Day is an online event, featuring taster lectures, information about the admissions process, plus a Q&A with current students.

The event is open to all state school pupils and their teachers, and is aimed at Year 12s. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

11:15 – 12:00 Information talk: Dr David Taylor, The Oxford admissions process and course information for English Language and Literature

12:20 – 13:00 Taster Lecture 2: Professor Sos Eltis, Oscar Wilde

13:00 – 13:30 Information talk: Outreach Co-ordinator, Resources Showcase

13.30 – 14.15 Q&A with undergraduate ambassadors

14:15 – 14:30 Closing remarks
