Congratulations to Steve Mellen who was awarded the Oxford / 42 New Writing Prize for his novel 'Ask the Ghosts'. Keelan Gallagher's film script ‘Billy Balaclava' was awarded runner-up.

Professor Devyani Sharma has been appointed to the Professorship of Language and Communication at the University of Oxford, a post endowed by News UK. She will take up this post on 1 October 2025.
