Teaching:
At the University of Oxford, I have been a teaching assistant for Prelims 4: Literature 1900-Present and for Paper 6: “The Good Life: Morality, Film, Literature”. I also co-taught a Masters C-Course on Irish women writers and led a Study Skills course for first year English students at Queens College. I supervised two undergraduate dissertations on Irish drama, and am currently supervising another on Irish fiction and censorship.
Prior to Oxford, I earned my MFA in prose at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. For three years, I taught English 112: Introduction to College Writing, and English 354: Introduction to Fiction Writing,
I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

I was accepted for “Imagallamh”, the Keough-Naughton Summer School in Irish Studies run by Notre Dame University. I am grateful to have won a postgraduate bursary from the British Association of Irish Studies, and the Le Baron Russell Briggs Traveling Prize for Continued Literary Studies from Harvard University.

Irish studies, food studies, medical humanities, contemporary fiction, drama and performance, humor studies, creative writing.
