Michelle Walker - Office Manager
The Office Manager plays a key and senior role in the Faculty of English’s administrative team. Michelle oversees the English Faculty Office staff and acts as one of the first points of contact for academics, students and visitors. She manages day-to-day queries, including room bookings, parking requests and general building maintenance and administrates the Faculty’s Academic Visitor scheme.
Michelle is also the main point of contact for organising key Faculty events, both ad-hoc and special lectures. She provides support to academic staff with matters relating to teaching, such as setting up lecture rooms and preparing handouts. Michelle acts as secretary on several committee meetings and provides administrative support to the Operations Manager and the Faculty Board Chair.
